Financial independence after war

I come from a village called Yambio, I was married at a very young age and was not allowed to study.

When the war broke out, I fled to Juba but my husband could not. I was left with nothing and no means to earn money or send my children to school.

I heard about the DMI sisters who were helping people in the communities. I went to them in 2016 and they conducted training on agriculture and savings. Because of their training and support, I am presently harvesting up to 150kg of groundnuts and 50kg of sorghum now; earning 38,000 SSP.
